Global Knives have reached the finals of the industries most prestigious awards event

 Global Knives has once again made it to the finals of the prestigious Excellence in Housewares Awards 2016!
 
Global, one of the world’s biggest Japanese knife brands, is no stranger to winning awards for its timeless design and sharp blade. Over the past 30 years, the brand has picked up awards from all over the world and the knives are used not only by the public, but by well-known professional chefs such as Michel Roux Junior, who champions the brand.

 A judging panel made up of over 30 top retail buyers has nominated Global for the Icon Award, one of the categories created by Excellence in Housewares Awards. The event is owned and organised by Progressive Housewares magazine, the industry's leading trade magazine, and, in conjunction with the CHA, is now in its 17th year. This has been embraced by the industry and recognised as the 'Oscars' for the housewares trade.

The awards shine the spotlight on both retailers for their retailing excellence as well as suppliers for their product innovation and service acumen.

OXO Good Grips, Y Peeler from OXO, Prestige Pressure Cooker from Meyer Group and SodaStream Drinks Maker from SodaStream.
