Grunwerg have officially re-branded. Out with the old and in with the new, although our new look very much pays homage to our heritage and roots in Sheffield. Over the past 75 years the company has grown and developed, however we feel the past is a part of us, it is alive in us and in our future.

Named after the Porter Brook that flows into the River Sheaf our Porter Cutlery Collection features an interesting rectangular shape at the end offering a classical look with a dignified air. Porter will bring a perfectly simple elegance to any table setting.

That time of year is upon us where we’re all supposed to dress up as goblins and ghouls, go ‘trick or treating’ and festoon our houses with hideous Halloween garb to entertain the kids. But how about celebrating Autumn this year without throwing money away on plastic pumpkins destined for landfill? Traditionally, late September through to early November has always been a time of harvest and celebration for many countries and cultures. 

This September we invited some of our fabulous retail customers to the beautiful Langham Hotel in London, to celebrate the launch of a whole host of new products. During the day, our guests took part in a cookery class in the dream kitchen at Sauce by The Langham. It was a great way for customers to get to grips with the new Global G-106 Kiritsuke Knife that we’ve just introduced. We’d also love to say it gave us the opportunity to improve our cooking skills. Sadly however that wasn’t the case.

Inspired by the landscape of South Yorkshire which Grunwerg has called home for over 75 years, our new ‘Rivers Range’ of cutlery features 10 different collections all made from quality 18/10 stainless steel with a 3.5mm gauge. Our Rivers designs reflect the natural beauty of the babbling brooks, stunning streams and rolling rivers which form the main geographical features of Sheffield and our home county.
